Binance Bitcoin Reserves Hit Six-Month High Amid Rising Trading Activity
Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached a six-month high of approximately 667,500 BTC, according to CryptoQuant. This increase comes as Bitcoin traded near $64,000 and traders monitored exchange balances for changes in available supply.
The latest figure represents a growth of around 51,500 BTC from the platform's balance in April, which was roughly 616,000 BTC. The increase in centralized exchange reserves means more supply is available for trading, potentially leading to higher selling activity.
However, it's essential to note that rising Binance Bitcoin reserves do not necessarily imply that investors plan to sell. Liquidity transfers, custody changes, and internal exchange operations can also contribute to the growth in balance.
