Binance Bitcoin Reserves Soar to Two-Year High of 693K
Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached a two-year high of 693,000 BTC, accounting for about 30% of the total BTC held by major exchanges. This surge in reserves is significant and may indicate that investors are moving their Bitcoin to the exchange to sell after recent price rallies.
According to Darkfost, Binance's reserves have increased by 77,000 BTC since late April. One possible reason for this increase is SAFU's plan to invest $1 billion to acquire around 15,000 BTC. Additionally, transfers following the ColdCard incident may also be contributing to the growth in exchange reserves.
The growing reserve of Bitcoin at Binance could potentially lead to increased selling pressure on the cryptocurrency market. This development may have significant implications for investors and traders who are currently holding onto their Bitcoin assets.
