Binance Blocks Transactions for Dozen Crypto Platforms Amid Regulatory Pressures
Binance has announced that it will stop processing transactions involving over a dozen crypto-asset service providers. The restrictions are set to take effect on August 23 for platforms such as HTX (Huobi Global SA), EXMO Ltd, and nine others.
The exchange cited recent regulatory developments as the reason for the measures. Once the cutoff dates pass, Binance will no longer be able to process transactions involving these providers. This may lead to delays or rejections of submitted transactions, and connected wallets may also face restrictions.
Binance has already applied similar controls to other providers earlier this month. Shelbit and Aban Tether Exchange were restricted from August 7, followed by PilotFinance Ltd, A7 Africa, and A7 Nigeria on August 13.
