Binance Blocks Transactions With 17 Platforms Amid Regulatory Crackdown
Binance has announced restrictions on transactions involving 17 cryptocurrency-asset service providers and platforms. The exchange cited regulatory requirements in jurisdictions where it operates as the reason for the move.
The affected platforms include three Nigerian-linked entities: A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa (which operates in Nigeria and Zimbabwe), and PilotFinance Ltd. Transactions involving these firms became subject to restrictions from August 13.
Other platforms being restricted by Binance include Rapira and Aifory Pro (Georgia); ABCeX (El Salvador and Georgia); WhiteBird and Tradex (Belarus); NoOnecrypto INC. (internationally); Monease Ltd (UK), BitPapa (UAE), Exnode and Exnode Pay (Georgia), HTX (Huobi Global SA), and EXMO Ltd (UK and Europe).
Binance instructed users not to engage in transactions with the listed entities after their respective effective dates. The exchange warned that attempted transactions could be held for compliance reviews and might constitute violations of its terms of use.
