Binance Brings Stock Options to US Market
Binance has made a significant move in its evolution from a crypto exchange to a comprehensive financial ecosystem by launching Stock Options on U.S. stocks. This new product allows users to trade options on stocks and ETFs traded in the U.S. through the Binance interface, alongside their existing crypto assets.
At the initial stage, only long strategies and limit orders are supported, meaning users can buy call and put options but cannot write options or engage in short exposure. The maximum loss for buyers is limited to the premium paid, providing a defined level of risk upfront.
The launch reflects Binance's strategy of integrating crypto and traditional financial instruments on a single platform. Stock Options are available with competitive fees, starting at $0.06 per trade, and can be traded using various currencies including USDC, USDT, USD1, U, BNB, and USD. The trading hours follow the U.S. options market schedule.
