Binance is expanding its reach into traditional finance by adding stock options trading to its platform. The company announced on September 1 that it will offer options on over 1,000 selected U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds.

The new feature will be operated through Nest Trading Limited, a Binance-owned broker-dealer regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market. However, users in the United States will not have access to this service.

The options trading will be physically settled, meaning users receive or deliver the underlying shares when they exercise a contract. Exercise requests can be submitted up to 30 minutes before expiry, and eligible retail users can buy calls and puts with a maximum potential loss limited to the premium paid.

This move builds on Binance's rapid expansion into traditional finance, which includes offering equities trading on over 7,000 stocks and ETFs. The company reported that its TradFi perpetual futures volume reached $433.4 billion in August, with equity-linked perpetuals accounting for approximately $342.9 billion.
