Binance bStocks Surges Past xStocks in Tokenized Stock AUM
Binance's bStocks has overtaken xStocks in assets under management (AUM), according to on-chain data from Dune Analytics. With approximately $599 million in AUM, bStocks marks a significant shift in the competitive landscape for tokenized stock offerings.
bStocks allows Binance users to purchase fractionalized shares of major companies like Tesla and Apple through tokenized representations. The platform has been steadily gaining traction since its launch, eventually surpassing xStocks' $589 million in AUM.
The data from Dune Analytics highlights a growing demand for on-chain exposure to traditional equity markets. Tokenized stocks offer a way to trade shares of major companies directly from a crypto wallet, bypassing traditional brokerage accounts.
