Binance bStocks Surpass $500M AUM in Record Time
Binance's tokenized securities, bStocks, have reached a significant milestone, surpassing $500 million in assets under management (AUM) just seven weeks after their launch on June 12. This rapid growth highlights strong demand for 24/7 trading and tokenized access to U.S. equities.
The bStocks ecosystem offers economic exposure to U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, available for trading at any time on Binance's platform as BEP-20 tokens on the BNB Smart Chain. They are fully backed 1:1 by the underlying securities, according to Binance's disclosures.
The bStocks ecosystem has expanded from an initial five listings to over 46, including tokenized versions of major stocks like Tesla (TSLAB) and MicroStrategy (MSTRB). The aggregate bStocks ecosystem market cap hovers around $465 million, with recent trading volume trends showing increasing traction.
Binance has waived maker fees on all bStocks pairs until August 31, further incentivizing adoption. Binance noted in its announcement that 'bStocks are reshaping how investors globally access U.S. equities,' appealing to a crypto-native audience by unlocking equity-like exposures without the constraints of Wall Street's trading hours.
