Binance BTC Reserves Hit Six-Month High at 667,500
Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached their highest level in six months, with approximately 667,500 BTC held on the exchange.
This represents a significant increase of around 51,500 BTC from April's balance of roughly 616,000 BTC.
The rising reserve numbers can indicate more available supply, but do not necessarily confirm selling activity. A higher reserve number typically means more coins are sitting in a place where they could be sold, but it does not guarantee that a sale has occurred.
CryptoQuant's tracking method measures the total balance of wallets identified as belonging to Binance, rather than what is listed in active sell orders. Analysts note that growth in exchange reserves can point to more supply becoming available for trading, which may raise the chances of selling activity.
