Binance Cuts Off Deposits on Specific Networks for Three Tokens
Binance has announced that it will stop accepting deposits for certain networks of three tokens - AVA, Gains Network (GNS), and Towns Protocol (TOWNS) - starting from September 14, 2026, at 08:00 UTC. This means that any deposits sent over the affected networks after this date may not be credited and could result in asset loss.
The affected networks for each token are as follows:
AVA: BNB Smart Chain and Solana
GNS: Polygon network
TOWNS: BNB Smart Chain and Base network
However, it's worth noting that Binance will still allow deposits and withdrawals of these tokens via other supported networks. For example, AVA can still be deposited over Ethereum (ERC20) after September 14.
Binance has also attached a monitoring tag to four tokens - including the three mentioned above - which indicates that they are reviewed more frequently due to higher risk. This does not mean that the tokens will be delisted or removed from the exchange, but it's a warning signal taken seriously by Binance.
