Binance CZ: Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million 'Much Sooner' Than Expected

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has predicted that Bitcoin will reach $1 million, but not in 25 years as previously expected. He believes it will happen much sooner.

CZ made his remarks on the Nakamoto Stage at a conference held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where he also acknowledged that he underestimated the growth potential of real-world asset tokenization (RWA) market.

The RWA market has been expanding rapidly recently, with growing examples of traditional financial assets such as U.S. Treasuries, equities, and private credit being tokenized on blockchain networks. Global financial institutions and digital asset companies are also rushing to build related products and infrastructure, accelerating market growth.
