Binance Delists Margin Trading Pairs Amid Liquidity Concerns
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced that it will remove several margin trading pairs from its platform. The affected pairs include A/USDC, HIVE/USDC, ILV/USDC, NEWT/USDC, and MOVE/USDC. This move is part of Binance's ongoing risk management and market quality reviews.
The delisting applies to both cross margin and isolated margin accounts, with the ILV/USDC pair being removed only from cross margin. According to Binance, the decision to remove these pairs was made after a review found them to have low trading activity and reduced liquidity.
Traders holding positions in these pairs are advised to close their positions before July 30 at 6:00 a.m. UTC, or risk automatic liquidation. The delisting does not affect spot trading for the underlying tokens, which can still be bought, sold, or held on Binance's spot market using other available pairs.
