Binance Delists Margin Trading Pairs Due to Low Liquidity
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced that it will delist several margin trading pairs on August 21. The affected cross margin pairs include AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC, and VELODROME/USDC. Additionally, the isolated margin pairs HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, and NXPC/USDC will also be removed.
The delisting is part of Binance's routine review of its listed trading pairs to ensure they meet certain criteria, including liquidity, trading volume, and overall market demand. Pairs that fail to maintain sufficient activity or show signs of reduced interest may be removed to protect users from potential risks.
Traders holding positions in the affected pairs should close or adjust their positions before August 21 to avoid automatic liquidation or forced settlement. Binance typically provides a grace period for affected traders, but it is crucial for them to monitor their accounts and take necessary actions before the deadline.
