Binance Delists Six Tokens Amid Crypto Bear Market
Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, has announced it will delist six tokens in August. The affected assets are Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY) and Viction (VIC).
The exchange will halt deposits, withdrawals, and trading for these tokens on August 18. Users who have outstanding assets in copy trading will see those sold forcefully at market price or transferred to spot accounts.
Binance's periodic product reviews aim to ensure that listed projects meet the set standards and industry requirements. The review considers factors such as project commitment, development activity, trading volume, liquidity, network safety, and emerging regulations.
The delisted tokens are likely to be converted to stablecoins, although this is not guaranteed. Binance will provide a separate notification before conversion and credit users' accounts with the stablecoins afterwards.
