Binance Delists Six Tokens and Ends Trading for Four Spot Pairs
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will be ending trading for four spot pairs on August 7. The affected pairs are QNT/BTC, RPL/USDC, SIGN/BNB, and SKL/USDC. Binance cited user protection and maintaining market quality as the reasons for the delisting.
The move is part of a regular review process that Binance conducts on listed spot pairs. The exchange removes some pairs based on factors such as insufficient liquidity and declining trading volume.
In addition to ending spot trading, Binance will also stop spot trading bot services for the four pairs at 0300 UTC on August 7.
Separately, Binance plans to halt trading for all spot pairs of six tokens - Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC) - at 0300 UTC on August 17.
The impact will extend to the derivatives market, with Binance planning to end futures contract trading for the six tokens at 0900 UTC on August 8. Users who hold automated trading or futures positions are advised to close out their positions in advance of the end dates.
