Binance Delists Three Altcoins Amid Separate Crises

Binance's latest delisting wave has hit three aging altcoins: ICON (ICX), Secret (SCRT), and Storj (STOR).

The exchange announced that it would remove these tokens from trading on September 3, citing its periodic asset review process. This review considers factors such as team commitment, development quality, trading volume, network security, community sentiment, and responsiveness to due diligence requests.

Each token faces a separate crisis: Secret is struggling with migration issues, ICON is set to shut down permanently and requires holders to migrate to SODA tokens, while Storj's parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 26.

The delisting notice also affects trading pairs, with spot trades closing at 03:00 UTC on September 3. Deposits will no longer be credited after September 4, and withdrawals will remain open until November 3. Binance may convert remaining balances into stablecoins starting November 4.
