Binance Delists USDC Margin Pairs Amid Operational Checks
Binance is set to delist eight USDC margin trading pairs on August 21. The move affects cross-margin and isolated-margin trading pairs, with users required to close positions and transfer assets before the deadline.
The affected pairs are AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC, and VELODROME/USDC. Of these, three pairs - HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, and NXPC/USDC - will also be removed from isolated margin.
Binance has blocked transfers of the assets in those pairs to isolated-margin accounts via manual or automatic transfers, limiting users' options for maintaining the related pairs. The exchange has also announced stage-by-stage limits on isolated-margin borrowing for HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, and NXPC/USDC, starting August 18.
In a separate measure, Binance will carry out wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) from August 20 at 0600 UTC. Deposits and withdrawals on the network will be temporarily suspended to support this process, but token trading will not be affected.
