Binance Ditches Pax Dollar Stablecoin Over Trading Volume Concerns
Binance is removing Pax Dollar (USDP), a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Paxos, from its platform. The exchange cited various factors it considers when reviewing listings, including trading volume and liquidity, development activity, network security, legal requirements, transparency of projects, tokenomics, and community sentiment.
Spot orders for USDP will stop trading on September 24, 2026, at 03:00 UTC. The exchange has not pinpointed a single infraction that led to the delisting. Binance Margin is set to delist USDP on September 11, at 06:00 UTC.
Withdrawals and deposits are crucial deadlines in this process. Standard withdrawals will still be accessible until November 24, at 03:00 UTC, but USDP deposits will no longer be credited after September 25, at 03:00 UTC.
