Binance has announced it will cease support for deposits and withdrawals of Sophon (SOPH) on the BNB Smart Chain network, effective August 21 at 08:00 UTC. This means any SOPH sent through the BNB Smart Chain network after this date will not be credited.

The decision was made as part of Binance's periodic reviews of listed spot trading pairs to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market. Binance conducts these reviews to identify factors such as poor liquidity and trading volume, which can lead to delisting.

This move follows other recent announcements from Binance, including the removal of several spot trading pairs on August 14 at 03:00 UTC. Additionally, Binance Margin will delist and cease trading on all margin trading pairs for BTTC (BitTorrent) and POWR (Powerledger) on August 14.
