Binance Dominates as Bitcoin Trading Volume Hits New Records
Bitcoin has set new records in trading volume, particularly on the BTC/USDT pair, following its recent all-time high of $93,000. This surge in activity has major implications for the futures market, with Binance leading the charge and contributing a significant portion of the $129 billion total trading volume.
CryptoQuant analyst Crazzyblockk has expressed concerns over the trading frenzy, calling it 'exceptionally overheated.' He notes that when Bitcoin's derivatives market swells, especially in the futures sector, market fluctuations often result. This can lead to minor pullbacks and substantial price swings.
Bitcoin's value has dropped 6.1% in the past day to $87,977, bringing it below the $88,000 mark, a 5.9% fall from its peak. Analyst Ali notes that $5.42 billion in Bitcoin profits have been realized, pushing the sell-side risk ratio to 0.524%. He cautions investors to 'stay alert and proceed with caution.'
Meanwhile, analyst Javon Marks is more bullish on Bitcoin's potential, setting a target of $116,652. His predictions date back to December 2022 when he identified bullish signals at approximately $16,782, setting a $67,559 target.
