Binance Donates $350,000 for Assam Flood Relief
Binance Charity has donated INR 3.3 Crore (USD 350,000) to Goonj's Rahat Initiative for Assam flood relief efforts.
The funds will provide emergency food, clean water, hygiene kits, and shelter for families in 349 flood-hit villages across seven districts in Assam.
The donation is a timely response to the worst floods in over 60 years, which have displaced thousands of families and left many in urgent need of support.
According to reports, more than 12 lakh people across 25 districts and 2,734 villages have been affected by flooding at various stages this year.
