Binance Empowers Women in Crypto Through Cape Town Workshop
Binance recently hosted an exclusive workshop in Cape Town, targeting female business leaders and influencers. The event was part of Binance's ongoing commitment to financial education and inclusion in South Africa.
The workshop, titled 'She Speaks Crypto,' aimed to empower women through crypto by providing a platform for them to learn about the technology and its applications. Samantha Fuller, Head of Communications at Binance Africa, emphasized that they wanted to go beyond just talking about financial inclusion, but rather provide hands-on experience.
The workshop combined plain-language crypto education with interactive sessions, where attendees could get started on the Binance App and learn how to navigate it independently. They covered topics such as signing up, growing crypto holdings through Binance Earn, spending crypto via the Binance Card and Binance Pay, and investing further through Binance Stocks and futures.
The workshop was designed to be an intimate and educational experience for its attendees. Fuller stated that they wanted women to leave with knowledge and confidence, which is where real empowerment begins. By providing a safe space for women to learn about crypto, Binance aims to help them achieve financial independence.
