Binance Enters Agentic AI Space with Agent OS Launch
Binance has launched Agent OS, a developer platform that connects AI agents to its trading infrastructure and market data. This marks the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange's entry into the space already occupied by OKX, Coinbase, and Kraken.
Agent OS supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that allows AI applications to call external services. It can be accessed from major AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, as well as custom-built agents.
The platform enables AI to directly query account information and execute trades within configured authorization and funding limits. Users can assign a sub-account to each agent and choose between settings that require approval before trade execution or allow agents to act autonomously.
