Binance Enters Stock Options Market With Over 1,000 Linked Stocks
Binance is expanding its traditional finance services by launching physically settled stock options linked to more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. The new product will be available to eligible customers outside the United States.
The move follows rapid growth in Binance's traditional asset derivatives business. TradFi perpetual futures volume reached $433.4 billion in August, up from $29.5 billion in January, with equity-linked perpetual futures driving most of the increase.
The new stock options will give eligible retail users access to calls and puts, allowing them to manage market exposure or take positions on supported U.S. stocks and ETFs. The maximum loss for buyers will remain limited to the premium paid.
