Binance Expands Crypto Payments with QR Code Feature Across Multiple Regions
Binance has expanded its Binance Pay QR code payment service to six markets, enabling users to make cryptocurrency payments by scanning QR codes at merchants in select countries.
The service leverages existing QR payment networks without requiring new hardware, allowing everyday retail transactions such as meals and grocery purchases.
According to recent data cited by Binance, the platform has processed over $280 billion in transactions since 2021, with QR payments exceeding $40 million in the past year and notable month-over-month growth.
The rollout also includes cross-border, zero-fee crypto payments in Latin America and aims to extend geographic coverage to more than ten countries by the third quarter of 2026.
