Authorities in Sharjah and Dubai have questioned Binance employees as part of an investigation into a bank account used to hold customer funds. The account was reportedly at the center of complaints from Emirati authorities.

According to people familiar with the matter, some Binance staff members were signatories on the account in question. This development comes after the company's efforts to establish itself as a major player in the region.
