Binance Flags Five Tokens as Delisting Risks After Monitoring Tag Addition
Binance has added five tokens to its Monitoring Tag list following its latest periodic reviews. The affected assets are Moonbeam (GLMR), ICON (ICX), Moonriver (MOVR), SuperRare (RARE), and Sophon (SOPH). This designation signals possible future delisting if they stop meeting the exchange's listing standards.
The tokens were added to the list on August 11, with no specific reasons given for individual projects. However, market data showed a mostly negative reaction, with GLMR and MOVR leading losses after the announcement.
Moonriver traded near $0.90, down about 20.7% over 24 hours, while Moonbeam fell about 12.9%. SuperRare declined around 8.3%, and ICON lost roughly 5.1%. Sophon was up about 0.8% over the same rolling period.
The exchange uses Monitoring Tags for assets it considers more volatile or risky than others listed on the platform. The reviews examine various factors, including team commitment, development activity, trading volume, liquidity, network security, and public communication.
