Binance Flags Five Tokens for Potential Delisting Risk
Binance has flagged five tokens for potential delisting after adding them to its Monitoring Tag list on August 11. The assets in question are Moonbeam (GLMR), ICON (ICX), Moonriver (MOVR), SuperRare (RARE) and Sophon (SOPH). Binance said the move does not remove any of the tokens from trading, but signals possible future delisting if they stop meeting the exchange's listing standards.
The Monitoring Tag is used for assets considered more volatile or risky than others. The review process examines team commitment, development activity, trading volume, liquidity, network security, smart contract stability, public communication, due diligence responses, token supply changes and evidence of misconduct. Binance did not provide a specific reason for adding each project.
Moonbeam and Moonriver recently underwent major network changes with Base migrations in July. ICON plans to permanently halt its legacy blockchain on December 31, 2026. SuperRare lost about $730,000 in a staking contract exploit in July 2025, while Sophon entered spot trading in May 2025.
The five tokens remain available under Binance's services, and the exchange will continue periodic reviews. The Monitoring Tag itself is not a delisting decision, but rather a warning sign that a token may no longer meet listing criteria.
