Binance Flags Four Tokens for Delisting Risk Amid Ongoing Review
Binance has flagged four additional cryptocurrencies for potential delisting due to increased scrutiny. The tokens in question are AVA, GNS, SCR, and TOWNS, which will receive a Monitoring Tag starting September 4, 2026. This designation is given to cryptocurrencies that require closer oversight due to higher volatility and investment risks.
The exchange stated that the decision was made after its latest project reviews. However, it noted that the availability of certain tokens may vary depending on users' locations. Receiving a Monitoring Tag does not mean automatic delisting but indicates more frequent assessments will be conducted.
Binance also announced that 14 tokens will be removed from its featured list on Binance Alpha due to no longer meeting its standards. The affected tokens are Multiple Network (MTP), Bondex Token (BDXN), PrompTale AI (TALE), and others, which will be delisted by September 4 at 8:30 UTC.
