Binance Founder CZ Predicts Bitcoin Will Surpass Gold, Hit $1 Million

Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made some bold statements about Bitcoin's potential during the Bitcoin Asia 2026 event. He believes that Bitcoin could surpass gold as a reserve asset in the global financial system due to its limited supply, digital nature, and global transferability.

CZ pointed out that many countries do not yet have cryptocurrency reserves, and he thinks it would be a good idea for governments to create strategic digital asset reserves. This could be important for long-term economic development, according to CZ.

In terms of price predictions, CZ stated that he believes Bitcoin will reach $1 million, but he doesn't think it will take 25 years as some other predictions suggest. 'I think it would be a good thing if Bitcoin reached $1,000,000,' CZ said. 'And it will happen. I don't think we need 25 years. I think it will happen much faster.'
