Binance Founders' Secret Identities: Homer and Marge Simpson

Binance co-founders Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao and Yi He used The Simpsons-themed codenames for internal communications, according to former employees.

The pair adopted the names of Homer and Marge Simpson, fitting given their personal relationship was kept largely out of the public eye for years. CZ would appear on calls under the name 'Homer,' while Yi used 'Marge' or 'Marjorie.'

This practice was an extension of Binance's visual identity, which has prominently featured the color yellow since its earliest years. The connection between the company's branding and The Simpsons was understood internally, turning Homer and Marge into playful alter egos for the co-founders.
