Binance Grabs 68.5% of Exchange Liquidity as Stablecoin Reserves Plunge
Stablecoin reserves have taken a significant hit in recent times, plummeting from $80 billion to $64 billion. This decline has led to a reduction in immediately available exchange liquidity by 20%, leaving centralized venues with less dry powder for Spot buying than they did near the late-2025 peak.
Binance, however, has seen its share of total reserve increase from nearly 60% to 68.5%. As a result, Binance now holds significantly more control over which stablecoin liquidity pool remains deployable to the market.
Traders should pay closer attention to Binance's stablecoin flow indicators to identify potential locations for future central venue liquidity deployment.
