Binance has solidified its dominance in the stock derivatives market, capturing a whopping 61.3% of perpetual contracts liquidity across major crypto platforms, according to data from RootData.
Stock derivatives now account for over 60% of the $3.16 trillion RWA perpetual contracts market, with equities experiencing a surge past 80% in July and August.
Bitget ranks second at 19.5% share yet leads in contract breadth with 298 listings, delivering 24.2% of ±2% weighted depth against a 16.3% open-interest footprint.
The data highlights Binance's commanding lead in volume, daily OI, and depth metrics while Bitget excels at offering tight spreads on popular assets and balanced coverage among top platforms including Binance, OKX, Bybit, and itself.
