Binance Introduces Stock Options Amid Growing TradFi Portfolio
Binance has expanded its traditional finance (TradFi) portfolio by offering customers access to stock options, the exchange announced on September 1.
The addition allows users to buy or sell underlying shares at a predetermined strike price on a specific expiration date. Binance describes this move as part of its growing suite of TradFi products, enabling traders to express direction, hedge equity positions, and manage portfolio risk from a single account.
'I think using the crypto infrastructure for TradFi assets is very popular and it works very well,' said Shunyet Jan, head of exchange and trading at Binance. 'We are just giving what our users want and giving more choices.'
