Binance Leads the Charge as Wall Street Adapts to 24/7 Trading
Wall Street is extending its operating hours to cater to growing demand from investors worldwide. This move aims to provide access to American financial markets beyond traditional New York working hours.
In contrast, Binance has been offering 24/7 trading of tokenized stocks and other instruments since before this change. In fact, data shows that in July, 62% of the trading volume on bStocks occurred when US exchanges were closed.
According to Delphi Consulting statistics, the trading volumes of bStock on Binance reached $14.7 billion in a month, while traditional financial futures (TradFi) traded at around $439 billion during the same period.
Binance's Deputy Head of Exchange and Trading, Shunet Yang, emphasizes that 24/7 markets enable responses to market events even when traditional venues are closed.
