Binance Migrates SOPH, Coinbase Suspends AZTEC Perpetual Futures Trading
Binance is discontinuing support for Sophon (SOPH) mainnet and migrating it to Ethereum on August 4. This change affects how holders can access SOPH, but trading itself will remain open.
Sophon's mainnet deposits and withdrawals will be suspended at 08:00 UTC on August 4. After that point, the Sophon mainnet will no longer support deposits and withdrawals for SOPH. The token will migrate to Ethereum at a 1:1 ratio, with the new contract address published on Etherscan.
Binance confirmed that spot, margin, and futures trading, along with BNB Earn services, will not be affected during the migration. However, project holders need to move their tokens through the old mainnet before August 4.
Coinbase is suspending trading of AZTEC perpetual futures (AZTEC-PERP) on August 17. This suspension affects only one derivatives contract on one exchange and should have a limited impact on traders holding that position. Any open positions will be automatically settled at the time of suspension, with the final settlement price based on the average index price over the 60 minutes before suspension.
