Binance Opens Trading Rails to Autonomous Agents

Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange, has launched Agent OS, a developer platform that allows artificial intelligence agents to access market data, monitor user accounts, and execute trades on the exchange.

The platform supports popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, which users can authorize to view account information and place trades within configured permissions and limits.

Binance emphasized the importance of user-set controls and subaccounts, allowing users to assign agents to dedicated subaccounts that are separate from their main balance. This feature enables users to revoke access at any time and maintain visibility and control over their accounts.

The launch of Agent OS places Binance alongside a growing field of rivals opening their trading rails to autonomous agents, including Coinbase, Kraken, and OKX. The exchange is positioning itself as a controlled on-ramp for the anticipated wave of AI-driven activity in the crypto market.
