Binance Records Unlocked in Mir Raza Murder Investigation
The murder investigation of Mir Raza has taken a new turn as investigators are now analyzing six months' worth of Binance cryptocurrency transactions in search of financial clues. The data, obtained from abroad, was shared with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and is being examined by specialists who can decode complex cryptocurrency records.
According to police sources, the data has been organized into a format resembling conventional Call Detail Records, but its complexity requires technical expertise to interpret. The investigators hope that a day-by-day breakdown of transactions will reveal important information about Raza's activities before his death.
The judicial commission constituted to investigate Raza's murder expressed strong displeasure over the intervention by Sindh Advocate General Javed Dero during Tuesday's proceedings, ordering him to appear before the panel on Thursday. The earlier investigation had come under intense scrutiny, and the commission has uncovered inconsistencies in the original post-mortem report.
