Binance Removes Seven Spot Trading Pairs Amid Liquidity Concerns
Binance has announced that it will be removing seven spot trading pairs from its platform on August 21. The decision was made as part of the exchange's regular review of listed markets, which aims to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market.
The pairs that will be removed are F/USDC, HIVE/USD, ILV/USD, LTC/BNB, NMR/USD, STEEM/USD, and SUI/BNB. Trading on these pairs will cease at 03:00 UTC on August 21.
The removal of these pairs is not a reflection on the underlying tokens, which will remain listed and accessible through other active pairs on Binance Spot. Wallet balances and holdings tied to these tokens are also unaffected.
Spot trading bots configured on any of the affected pairs will be shut down automatically once the removal takes effect. Users are advised to manually close or cancel affected bots ahead of time, as open bot positions may not settle cleanly once trading on a pair ends.
