Binance Restricts Transactions with 16 Crypto Platforms Amid Sanctions
Binance will stop processing transactions involving 11 cryptocurrency service providers starting August 23. This is part of a compliance action that began earlier this month, with five platforms previously restricted in two phases. The exchange cites recent EU/UK/US sanctions tied to Russia and Iran as the reason for the restrictions.
The affected entities include HTX (Huobi Global SA), EXMO Ltd, Rapira, Aifory Pro, ABCeX, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, Tradex, Monease, BitPapa, and Exnode. These platforms join five others that were cut off in earlier phases.
The move does not remove any cryptocurrency from Binance, but transfers to or from listed platforms may be held for compliance review with temporary restrictions applied to the impacted wallet.
