Binance has announced that it will restrict transactions involving 11 crypto platforms from August 23, due to new European Union sanctions measures. The affected platforms include HTX and EXMO, among others.

The move follows the EU's 21st sanctions package against Russia, adopted in July. According to the notice, transactions involving these designated entities may be held for compliance review once the restrictions begin.

Binance had already applied similar restrictions to five other entities before this batch, expanding its existing compliance action rather than starting a new one.
