Binance has reintroduced Capital Connect, a revamped marketplace designed to connect institutional investors with professional crypto trading teams. The platform aims to streamline investment discovery and allocation by standardizing metrics for evaluating crypto strategies.
Capital Connect was initially launched in 2023 as a free resource for VIP users, but the updated version now integrates with Binance's institutional account infrastructure. This allows trading teams to onboard via Portfolio Accounts, develop track records, and become searchable on Capital Connect.
Institutional investors can compare investment strategies using standardized metrics such as 30-day returns, Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdowns, and lock-up periods. The platform emphasizes anonymity and security, with investor funds remaining on Binance's platform until a trading team accepts their connection request.
