Binance Sees $670M Stablecoin Influx in January After December Outflows
Binance's stablecoin inflows have rebounded strongly in January after a significant decline in December. According to on-chain analyst Darkfost, more than $670 million worth of stablecoins flowed into the platform during the first week of January.
This influx is a stark contrast to December, when Binance recorded over $1.8 billion in net stablecoin outflows. The reversal can be attributed to investors re-entering the market and buying intent, with Darkfost suggesting that sidelined capital may be re-deployed into the market.
The analyst noted that such a level of liquidity is rare, particularly after the crash on October 10, which created attractive opportunities for investors. The trend has reversed in January, with Binance's Bitcoin-to-stablecoin ratio trending upward, indicating increased buying activity.
