Binance Soars Past 693K BTC in Reserves, Fueling Selling Pressure Fears
Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached an all-time high of over 693,000 BTC, exceeding levels seen in two years. This increase represents a significant jump, as reserves have grown by approximately 77,000 BTC since late April.
The rising exchange reserves may indicate that investors are moving their Bitcoin to exchanges with the intention of selling after recent price rallies. Additionally, SAFU's plan to invest $1 billion and acquire around 15,000 BTC could also be contributing to the increase in exchange reserves.
An analysis by Darkfost found that Binance's Bitcoin reserves now account for about 30% of all BTC held by major exchanges. This growing reserve may put upward pressure on selling prices, potentially impacting market sentiment and investor confidence.
