Binance Spot Listing Sends MarsCoin Price Soaring by Nearly 300%
MarsCoin has experienced a remarkable surge in value after Binance announced its spot listing. The token's price has risen by nearly 300% in just one week, with a market capitalization of $162.7 million.
The catalyst for this increase was the Binance announcement on September 4, confirming that MarsCoin would be listed for spot trading. This move follows the exchange's listing of MARSCOIN/USDT perpetual futures contracts on September 1, which did not guarantee a spot listing but ultimately led to one.
The token is traded against SPCXB, the BNB Chain tokenized version of SPCX, and has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. A 3% tax on every buy and sell feeds a rewards vault, with holders receiving SPCXB automatically if they hold 10,000+ MARSCOIN.
MarsCoin's chart shows consolidation between $0.04 and $0.06 from late July through September 1, followed by a sharp increase after the futures listing. The spot listing news then triggered a fresh all-time high in the token's price.
