Binance Stablecoin Liquidity Rotates to Ethereum Amid Tron Exodus

Instruments

Stablecoin liquidity on Binance has undergone a significant shift in recent weeks, with capital flowing away from Tron and towards Ethereum-based networks.

The data shows that Tron's USDT reserves on Binance have dropped by nearly 50% over the past two weeks, falling from $1.4 billion to just $709 million. In contrast, inflows of USDT and USDC into Ethereum-based networks have surged sharply, with daily inflows frequently exceeding $180 million.

The scale of this shift suggests a coordinated repositioning by large holders and market makers, rather than routine trading activity. The reallocation of capital from Tron to Ethereum may be driven by factors such as deeper decentralized finance liquidity on Ethereum, broader market infrastructure, or positioning ahead of potential volatility in the Ethereum market.
