Binance Stablecoin Outflows Top $7 Billion Amid Weakening Crypto Liquidity
Binance's stablecoin outflows have reached $7 billion in 2026, according to CryptoQuant data. This represents an additional $2.2 billion in net stablecoin outflow this month alone.
The decline in Binance's stablecoin reserves is a significant concern for the broader crypto market. As nearly 70% of exchange stablecoin reserves are held by Binance, the reduction in available capital to purchase digital assets is substantial.
The trend of investor funds moving from one exchange to another reinforces a cautious risk environment. This phenomenon has also been observed at the regional level, with South Korea recording 18 consecutive months of net stablecoin outflows.
Despite the weakening liquidity, Bitcoin remains resilient, trading above $63,000. However, sustaining its recovery will require improvements in demand for stablecoins and overall market momentum.
