Binance Taps Veteran Fintech Exec for Philippine Expansion

Binance has appointed crypto and fintech veteran Jen Bilango as its General Manager for the Philippines. This move comes as Binance prepares to enter the Philippine market through its partnership with BlockShoals Technologies.

Bilango brings extensive experience in the Web3 space, having previously served as General Manager at BlockchainSpace. During her tenure, she led initiatives involving The Sandbox and a country-specific NFT asset sale.

Bilango's background working with regulatory bodies will support Binance's compliance processes in the Philippines. She noted that it is an 'amazing opportunity' to ensure full compliance and regulatory measures during the company's entry into the country.
