Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has partnered with anti-trafficking group STOP THE TRAFFIK to help identify and investigate transactions linked to human trafficking and child exploitation.

The partnership involves Binance receiving intelligence, training, and insight from STOP THE TRAFFIK’s Centre for Intelligence-Led Prevention to strengthen its compliance team's ability to detect emerging trafficking-related typologies and illicit crypto activity.

This is the first time a cryptocurrency company has partnered with STOP THE TRAFFIK, which works with financial institutions, technology firms, governments, and law enforcement to share intelligence on trafficking networks.

According to Binance, human trafficking generated about $528.5 billion in illicit proceeds in 2025, up 23.5% from 2023, highlighting the need for cryptocurrency companies like Binance to evolve their financial crime prevention strategies.
