Binance Tokenized Stocks Hit $500M in Just Seven Weeks
Binance's tokenized securities product, bStocks, has surpassed $500 million in assets under management just seven weeks after its launch on June 11, 2026.
The product offers eligible users the ability to trade tokenized versions of stocks around the clock and convert between a bStock and its underlying stock without charge. Since its inception, bStocks has expanded from five listings to over 46, covering companies across various sectors including technology, semiconductors, financial services, clean energy, and exchange-traded funds.
The user base for bStocks is predominantly young and crypto-native, with Gen Z accounting for 44% of all trading activity. Interestingly, 41.5% of users began their traditional finance investment journey through tokenized securities on Binance, indicating the product's role as a bridge between digital assets and conventional equity markets.
Binance's Head of Exchange and Trading, Shunyet Jan, pointed out that after-hours trading dominates, with bStocks accounting for 58% of equity-linked volume on the platform outside US market hours. The company plans to continue expanding the product's scope as user demands evolve.
